Research Overview
My current research is dedicated to addressing practical sensing challenges in the field of Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp) and Internet of Things (IoT). I create effective and privacy-aware sensing systems on human subjects, spanning applications such as human activity recognition, pose estimation, health sensing, and more. I build systems for managing multi-user privacy in shared spaces through negotiation and on-device machine learning-based filtering of speech information for acoustic sensing applications. My research methods involve system prototyping, machine learning, and user studies.
